1 month old
Scott is one month old!
He likes to eat and sleep. He is starting to smile and likes to look at faces.
Scott went to the doctor today. He is perfect, their words. 😉
He is 22 inches (64th percentile). 10 pounds 14.5 ounces (71st percentile), up 3 pounds since he was born! Head circumference of 15.25 inches (86th perecentile).
Scott has been to the beach (ocean), to the movies (finding dory), to lake Como, to visit Neeno & Poppy's and Grammy and Pops', on several bike rides, to restaurants and shopping trips. He doesn't seem to mind the car or new places.
He has already changed so much! He makes us smile everyday! We love you Scott Thomas!

39 weeks
The hospital called to prep for your birthday. We have to be there at 7:15 and surgery is scheduled for 9:15. Less then a week until we get to see your little face!
Wednesday we had dinner with Poppop and Auntie Barb. Mommy noticed her back HURT! So you must have settled low and are pinching a nerve. Daddy did some research and its ligaments relaxing. Even sitting hurts. I have to be very careful how I move.
Because of my back I took Monday and Tuesday off which means I'm officially done work for summer! Kaitlyn is done school, Aubrey's last day at Mrs. Faye's for summer was Friday too. Daddy is working Monday but took Tuesday and Wednesday off. We are all ready for your arrival! 5 more days!!
Daddy's coworkers had a baby shower for him this week. Lots of cute clothes for you!
I spent some time sitting in your room last night, I can't wait to see you in it. 💙

38 weeks!
38 weeks is here! As of today we are 10 days until C-section day and I don't know if I'm going to make it! Everything hurts and I'm grumpy from not being able to sleep.
At my appointment on Friday I saw a new nurse practitioner I hadn't met before. She asked if anyone told me the baby was measuring big. When I told her no she made a face and said "well, he's had a growth spurt". Then she went on to stress the signs of labor about 3 times.
There isn't much room left in there! Scott is playing soccer with my ribs and I feel like a water balloon ready to pop!
Come on pumpkin! Mommy says it's time to come out!

37 weeks
Oh so ready to meet you! 37 weeks has been rough on mom. I'm not sleeping more then two hours at a time either because I have to pee or I'm just uncomfortable! I've had some other issues pop up due to the pressure your putting on my hips and pelvis too.
I just realized I'm wearing the same shirt as last week, haha! Well little winter melon. Anytime you are ready to make your appearance mom is ready too!

I'm finally feeling better after my bronchitis! Yay! Sleeping however is getting painful.
Weekly appointments started this week. Everything is still looking good.

35 weeks
Baby Scott is getting bigger and stronger. The rest of the family is fighting colds, viruses, and all kinds of nasty yuck! We need to get better fast because I don't want poor baby to get sick!
This week marks 1 month from our scheduled csection! Exciting!

34 weeks
Daddy applied for his paternity leave last Friday. He will be spending the first four weeks at home with us. Everyone will be out of school and daycare too.
Relay season is in full swing, Shaun has three Relays this weekend! He said his goal is to be done and have all Relays wrapped up by the time Scott comes.
Aubrey has become more vocal asking about Baby Scott. She has said she will help me take care of him by feeding him and changing diapers. We shall see.
6 more weeks to go. I'm excited to see who you will look like little man!

32 & 33 weeks
This week I am feeling better but still not back up to 100%. Scott is getting more active all the time. I have a video from the other night of the belly jumping. I told Shaun the force is strong with this one. He will have to be with his two older sisters.
The belly seems to have grown over the last week too! Happy 33 weeks Scott! We will see you in a few weeks. Keep getting stronger and healthier!

31 weeks
Everyone keeps asking how I'm doing like I'm going to pop at any moment! 9 weeks to go! This weekend it was two months exactly until my c-section is scheduled.
I can't wait to meet this little guy. I just need to get through the end of the school year!

30 weeks!
I also spent the day doing about 20 loads of laundry. I needed to catch up on laundry from Florida and this week. I washed a few loads of baby clothes, towels and blankets for Scott too.
Everything looked good at the doctors. Kaitlyn and Aubrey love to hug, kiss and snuggle the belly. I told Kaitlyn that Scott can hear her when she reads and talks to him.
Right now he is tap dancing or something in there. I can see my belly jumping all over not to mention feel it. Love you too little guy! Dr. Bedder told me to start doing kick counts looking for 10 movements an hour. I'm pretty sure I'm at 10 or more per minute at the moment.

29 weeks!
Scott's first trip to Disney was a success. Thankfully he was cooperative but he thinks dad walks too fast!
We even got Scott his own ears! Kaitlyn and Aubrey love talking about their brother and kissing the belly.
Scott has gotten very strong! I think his kicks and punches are visible now and he took my breath away with one while I was at work today.
Check out the funniest shirt ever from Disney.

28 weeks!
28 weeks this week and we ran off for spring break to Disney World! Scott either really likes or does not like loud music.
Sunday, March 20, 2016
27 weeks!
Scott is growing, kicking and punching and swimming around. He doesn't like cold food and gets really active when I sit down.
27 weeks! Shaun and I were talking the other day that once we come back from Spring Break we have about 2 months to go!

26 weeks
This was an interesting week. Last weekend Kaitlyn had a stomach bug and was up all Saturday night vomitting. Monday night it was Aubrey's turn. Tuesday...my turn. Ugh! I was completely down for the count and must have slept almost 20 hours. Not a fun activity when pregnant, I do not recommend it. So far Shaun hasn't gotten it...how he escaped I have no idea!
We made it to 26 weeks though! Kaitlyns new room is painted, the new downstairs guest room is painted, Shaun and I actually have pictures hung in our bedroom! Nesting.
Scott is an active little guy. You can see my belly jump when he kicks now.
Kaitlyn gets more excited all the time! She said she wants him to come now. I had to explain he's not done baking yet and needs to grow some more first.
Mom & Rob come home this week and Figgy will go home. That means we can start working on his room soon!! So exciting!

25 weeks
25 weeks in the books... 15 to go. It seems like a lot but it's really only 3 months away!
Shaun and I are both in nesting mode. Shaun's trying to clean up the rest of the house while I buy all the things!!
Today we bought Scott's new car seat. (The one we had for the girls is expired, it's a thing! Check your seats ladies and gentleman!)
It's getting more real each time something blue comes into the house. Last week Shaun bought some toy trucks. I think he's excited for boy toys. Lol!
Scott is growing just as he should be. At my doctors appointment the belly measured perfectly and his heartbeat was perfect. My blood work from my glucose test was "amazing". 😉 I asked them to check my c-section date as something in my last conversation with Doctor Bedder about her schedule and the date they gave me didn't make sense. My c-section is now scheduled for June 16th at 9:15am, which makes so much more sense! 6-16-16 will be much easier to remember too.

24 weeks!
24 weeks this week, baby Scott is growing perfectly. My glucose test came back with amazing results, lower then 140 is good. Mine was 96!
Baby is measuring perfectly. I received a message today that my c-section has been changed to Thursday June 16th at 9:15 am! 6-16-16 it is.
Aubrey stayed dry in panties all day Sunday while we were out. Kaitlyn is about to lose her first tooth! Everyone is growing up!

23 weeks
Punching, kicking, moving and growing! Scott is defiantly telling us what he thinks.
This weekend we made an epic trip to Ikea to get Aubrey her big girl furniture. I can't believe it all fit in the car. Nesting is in full swing. Kaitlyn is moving across the hall, crib and baby furniture into her old room and Aubrey got all new furniture. The playroom is moving to the basement and guest room into the current playroom. Lots to do, tons to move, three rooms to paint and 16-17 weeks to get it all done!
Aubrey is starting to understand that a baby is coming! She asks about baby Scott, will rub my belly and give him kisses. When you ask "where is your baby brother?" She will tell you "in mommy's belly".

22 weeks
Happy 22 weeks. There has been a lot more movement and kicking this week. Scott has his times of the day where he likes to throw a dance party. Today it was anytime I sat down!
I feel like I am carrying straight out, in fact it makes me laugh sometimes. Little peanut wants everyone to know he is there! With both Kaitlyn and Aubrey I felt like I got wider before my belly popped out, when I look at myself straight on I still have somewhat of a figure. Check out my view!
Haha!
Heartburn is rearing its ugly head. I've noticed it has a lot to do with my posture though. If I'm slouched over, not sitting up straight or hunched over a computer is when I notice it. Yesterday it was so bad my ears hurt, and still hurt today!
My c-section has been scheduled for June 13th at 3:30pm. I feel like this is an odd time so I'm double checking at my next appointment.
Kaitlyn is still very excited for her baby brother! Aubrey even asked where Scott was when I came home yesterday and wanted to see my belly! Progress!

21 weeks
Past the halfway mark now.
The belly is getting bigger. I can feel more movement now, when I drink something cold is what makes me laugh the most.
It was a big week this week. We had our ultra sound and everything was perfect. They told us they will not need to see us back. Shaun and I not only got to see the baby we found out what we are having. As soon as the ultrasound hit my belly there it was like baby wanted us to know.
So exciting! We are having a little boy.!
Scott Thomas Gines is on his way!
Knowing baby "peanut" is a boy and feeling him move has made this week feel really real! He will be here quickly. June is really only 4 months away.
Dr. Bedder didn't have her copy/information from the ultrasound so we couldn't schedule my c-section. She said someone would call me soon to schedule. From our conversation it will be the week of June 12th, on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Pretty soon we will know Scott's birthday!
I'm feeling good, heartburn has reared its ugly head but I know it's food related at this point and what to avoid. My arms are starting to fall asleep while I'm sleeping. Which is never fun to wake up to. Side sleeping is already getting old.

Halfway here already!
Gines baby number 3 is officially on the way AND almost halfway done baking! Time really does fly.
We announced to our families that Kaitlyn and Aubrey are going to be big sisters around Thanksgiving. We officially told the world on New Years Eve with this little gem.
Today we are officially at 20 weeks but here are the previous pictures to catch you up as well.
Mom is feeling great but gets tired sometimes, she's starting to feel movement. Like bubbles being blown or the fish bowl feeling.

Kaitlyn is very excited. She is always asking how her baby peanut is doing and how big baby is now. Before she knew we were expecting she kept asking for a baby brother. Now, she has decided she wants a baby sister. "Who will be super cute and we can put bows in her hair!" She even took a poll at school to see what her friends thought the baby would be, girl won.
Aubrey isn't so sure. She's getting frustrated that mommy's lap is shrinking. When we talk about the baby in mommy's belly she will tell us "No, I'm the baby!" We are hopeful she will start to understand soon. She loves the babies at day care especially her little cousin Baby Henry. I know she will be a great big sister, once she figures it all out.
